The first opus of this new collection devoted to a monument of Swiss literature, S. Corinna Bille, is about houses, cities and paths. Nine texts of the author are assembled here. Some very short, others longer, but all of them having in common this sharpness in the writing, this poesy, this smooth and clear style, and this love of nature and childhood.
Thus we follow in the first story, Misters books, a quarrel between books in an author’s house. Heavy books which are never disturbed are made fun of by those which are read over and over again and stay on the writer’s bed-table. Police novels and Bibles don’t get along. Debates are tough…
