Born in 1991 in Yverdon-les-Bains, Vamille aka Camille Vallotton lives and works in Fribourg at present. Passionate about comic strips and illustration, she studied visual communication at the HEAD-Geneva. In 2014, she is the public winner for the “Illustrators of tomorrow” prize, during the BD-Fil festival. Following her studies, she goes on a 4 months training course in Joost Swarte’s studio, in Haarlem, Netherlands. In December 2016, she wins the Töpffer Prize of Young comic strips of the Canton of Geneva for her comic book “Speculum Mortis”.
