It moves at the museum

This tactile book offers infants and toddlers a playful and aesthetic introduction to the world of art. All of the pieces presented are connected by the theme of motion. On the left page, the young child is invited to trace a finger over wavy, jagged and straight lines, following them as they flow into the art work on the opposite page, before coming to a stop. The shape of the line is suggestive of either the flight of a bird, a bouncing ball, or animal tracks in the woods.
The objective of this book is to stimulate younger children’s motor skills, as well as observation (by examining colour and form), touch (by means of the thick black line on the left page) and the imagination (by creating narratives inspired by imagery).
A beautiful book whose objective far exceeds an educational project.
