Lily

Lily

1961. The OAS bombs blow up in the streets of Paris, the pubs are full, everyone listens to The Wild Cats, Gréco and Ferré. Being 16 years old, Lily is to sit the admission exam for the Opera ballets. She has been working for years to become a ballerina. She should be happy, but her brother Michel, who she loves more than everything, has gone to war in Algeria, and the dance, as it is taught to her, seems more and more different from what she expected… And then, no more news of Michel… He has deserted. Will Lily be able to break free from this love too strong, binding her to her brother, and from the dance as her teachers want to impose it? While these questions arise in her mind, on the roofs of the Opera, a man spies on her.
