Born in 1990, Hubert Poirot-Bourdain studied at the School for Decorative Arts in Paris and Parsons School in New York. Passionate about design, he enjoys working in a variety of media and formats: cartoons, poster design, and even frescos. The train is his third book for children. born in 1985. After obtaining his DNSEP (National Postgraduate degree in Plastic Arts) at the Fine Arts School of Nancy, he returned to Paris. In his final year as a student, he met the publishers Warum at a young talent contest in Angoulême, and published his first comic book for adults, “La Casa”, in 2001.
