Christophe Pernaudet

Christophe Pernaudet first started writing stories for adults in 1990, when he began working in advertising. A few years ago he decided to turn his hand at writing for a more mature and discerning audience – children. He found that when writing for children is that it is possible to address extremely sensitive subjects that are lost on adults: subjects such as life and death, dentists and spiders.

In 2013, Christophe published his first book – a mixture of poems and prose illustrated by the French artist Martes Barthori. Since then, he has published a number of books for children and their parents, edited by éditions du Rouergue, Les 400 coups, Lito, Grund, Les p’tits bérets, l’Elan vert and La joie de lire.
