Lithuanian graphic designer, painter and illustrator born in 1949, Stasys Eidrigevicius studied at the Institute of Fine Arts in Vilnus. In 1980 he moved to Poland. His graphic work is recognized in Poland and throughout the world. Since 1985, pastels have been an important part of his artistic creation. In the 1990s he returned to oil painting. His works are at the border between metaphor, surrealism and fantasy. They can be found at the National Museum of Warsaw, the British Museum in London, the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the National Library in Washington, the Vatican Museums in Rome and the Creation Gallery in Tokyo, and in 2010 he was awarded the silver medal of the Polish Cultural Merit Gloria Artis.
